The Hunger Site - Is it for real?

These click-to-donate sites seem too good to be true. While I believe these aren’t a scam, my belief is based more on the fact that I want them to be honest because they seem like such a great idea. For the time being I’m still clicking on them, but if you saw some of the spam in my inbox, you’d understand my scepticism. Any opinions either way would be appreciated.

The Hunger Site - The Breast Cancer Site - The Child Health Site - The Literacy Site - The Rainforest Site - The Animal Rescue Site - These are all run by CharityUSA.com and I click on them regularly.

Two others I've found recently are Stop The Hunger and Free Donation.

If these turn out to be a scam, I’ll be well pissed off with the world.

Dreaming of Manchester City's Andy Cole

Queensland Roar’s chairman Lawrence Oudendyk has been dreaming out aloud again. Early in the year there was talk of West Ham's Teddy Sheringham either signing for the club or perhaps making some guest appearances. After noting the benefits of Sydney FC’s singing of Dwight Yorke, Oudendyk’s attention has switched to Manchester City's Andy Cole.

While I applaud their ambition, I tend to agree, more with coach Miron Bleiberg’s assessment of the situation.

"I don't know how realistic it is. I think it is a mistake to pursue players from the inflated Premier League market anyway," Bleiberg said.

"My two imports (Korean) Hyuk-Su Seo and (Uruguayan) Osvaldo Carro are probably on 10 per cent of what Dwight Yorke is on, and look at Sydney – they lost 5-0 at the weekend."

"But if Lawrence decides that's what he wants and there is an opportunity, then of course it would be a dream," he said.

anything - debunct

This is just a simple introduction to Debunct. I've added a few links to sites that interest me. If you're a Google bomber then feel free to add the links down the side to your site. If you have any new causes then please add them to this article.

Firstly, life is better with a dialy Dilbert and remember to read the past strips, preferably from the earliest date available. Next is one of my favourite columnists from The Guardian, environmental and political activist George Monbiot. If you haven‘t done much thinking lately, then jump in the deep end here. And finally, a bit of football at The Football Wiki and Celtic Quick News.

That's it for now. Feel free to click on the comments and give me a piece of your mind - I need all the pieces I can get.
